Your existing material contains valuable knowledge.
We reorganize, simplify and rebuild it into learning
that is easier to understand, complete and apply.

Have a mix of formats? Most projects begin with
several different sources.
PowerPoint to eLearning
Move beyond narrated slides.
We turn existing slide decks and speaker notes into
structured digital learning with a clear progression,
relevant practice and purposeful interaction.
What changes
Restructure slides around clear learning
objectives instead of presentation order.
Turn examples and discussion points into
decisions, scenarios and learner practice.
Add visual support, narration and feedback only
where they improve understanding.

Instructor-led training conversion
Keep the expertise. Remove the scheduling bottleneck.
We convert instructor-led training into self-paced or
blended learning while preserving the knowledge,
examples and judgement that made the original session useful.
What changes
Capture explanations, examples and context
normally supplied by the facilitator.
Rebuild group exercises as guided individual
practice, scenarios or reflection activities.
Create a consistent experience that employees
can complete whenever they need it.

PDF and manual conversion
Turn dense reference material into guided learning.
Manuals are designed to hold information—not necessarily
teach it. We identify what employees need to understand,
practise and remember, then build the course around that.
What changes
Separate essential learning from material better
suited to a reference resource.
Break long explanations into clear steps,
examples and practical decisions.
Build responsive modules that are easier to
navigate than a long document.

SOP and policy course creation
Make critical procedures easier to understand and apply.
We translate policies and standard operating procedures
into practical learning that shows employees what to do,
why it matters and how to respond in realistic situations.
What changes
Turn procedural language into clear, ordered
actions employees can follow.
Use scenarios to practise exceptions, judgement
calls and higher-risk decisions.
Add knowledge checks and completion tracking
for compliance requirements.

Webinar and video conversion
Distill long recordings into focused learning.
Instead of asking employees to watch an hour-long recording,
we identify the useful ideas, preserve the strongest moments
and build a shorter learning experience around them.
What changes
Extract essential ideas and remove repetition,
housekeeping and irrelevant discussion.
Retain useful clips while surrounding them with
context and learner activity.
Organize content into shorter modules employees
can complete and revisit easily.

Legacy eLearning conversion
Modernize courses that have outgrown their design.
We rebuild outdated eLearning in current authoring tools,
improving usability, visual consistency, accessibility and
LMS compatibility without discarding valuable content.
What changes
Rebuild aging or unsupported courses in
Storyline 360 or Rise 360.
Improve navigation, accessibility and visual
consistency across the learner experience.

From source material to learning experience
The content stays. The learning experience changes.
Effective training content conversion is not a copy-and-paste
exercise. We preserve your subject matter expertise while redesigning
how employees understand, practise and use it.

Our conversion process
A clear path from source files to LMS-ready learning.
Every training content conversion project follows a structured,
collaborative process. You always know what we are working on,
what we need from you and what comes next.
Select a project stage
Stage 01
Understand the content, audience and technical requirements.
We review your PowerPoints, PDFs, manuals, SOPs, recordings or
existing courses to determine what should be retained, revised,
removed or expanded.
What we examine
Learning goals and intended audience
Content quality, volume and organization
Accessibility and localization requirements
LMS, SCORM and reporting requirements
What we need from you
Existing source files, brand guidelines, access to a subject
matter expert and any known LMS specifications.
Stage output
Recommended approach, project scope and conversion plan
Stage 02
Reorganize the material around real learner needs.
Source material is rarely organized like an effective online
course. We restructure it around the knowledge, decisions and
workplace actions learners actually need.
What we do
Remove repetition and unnecessary detail
Break complex information into manageable sections
Identify missing context or performance gaps
Create a logical course and lesson structure
What we need from you
Subject matter expert clarification when information is
incomplete, outdated or open to interpretation.
Stage output
A focused course outline and approved learning structure
Stage 03
Decide how learners will explore, practise and respond.
We turn the approved structure into a practical learning design,
choosing interactions and media because they support the content—
not because they look flashy.
What we plan
Scenarios, decisions and guided practice
Knowledge checks and meaningful feedback
Visual treatment, narration and supporting media
Storyline 360 or Rise 360 build approach
What we need from you
Feedback on the proposed direction before full development
begins, keeping later revisions focused and efficient.
Stage output
Approved storyboard, prototype or detailed build plan
Stage 04
Build the course and refine it through focused reviews.
Our team develops the course in Articulate Storyline 360 or Rise
360, applying your branding and building the approved interactions,
media and assessment experience.
What we build
Branded course interface and visual system
Interactive screens, scenarios and assessments
Accessible navigation and learner controls
Responsive behaviour where the platform allows
What we need from you
Consolidated review feedback from the appropriate stakeholders
at agreed project checkpoints.
Stage output
A complete review-ready digital learning course
Stage 05
Test the experience and prepare it for your LMS.
Before delivery, we test navigation, interactions, completion
behaviour and technical settings so the course is ready to launch
inside your learning environment.
What we verify
Course functionality and browser behaviour
SCORM completion and reporting settings
Accessibility and keyboard navigation
Final content, links, media and assessments
What we need from you
Final approval and, when required, access to a staging LMS for
launch testing.

LMS-ready SCORM package, source files and launch support
The exact process is adapted to the size, condition and complexity of
your existing training materials.
Choosing the right build
The right format depends on the training.
We recommend a development approach based on what your learners need
to do, how they will access the course and how often your content is
likely to change.

Training conversion FAQs
Questions before you hand over the source files?
Here are the practical answers teams usually need before beginning a
training content conversion project.
01
What types of training content can Hiveminds convert?
We can convert PowerPoint decks, PDFs, SOPs, policy
documents, manuals, instructor-led workshops, webinars, recorded
presentations and legacy eLearning courses. We review the
material first to determine what can be reused and what needs to be
reorganized or rebuilt.
02
Can you convert PowerPoint or PDF content into Storyline or Rise?
Yes. We convert PowerPoint and PDF training into courses built in
Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360 or a combination of
both. The source material is redesigned for online
learning rather than simply copied from one format into another.
03
Can you update or rebuild an existing SCORM course?
Usually. If editable source files are available, we can review and
update the existing build. If only the published SCORM package is
available, the course may need to be reconstructed. We will assess
the files before recommending the most efficient approach.
04
Does our content need to be completely finalized first?
Not necessarily. We can help identify gaps, repetition and unclear
sections during the content audit. However, the appropriate subject
matter experts should be available to verify accuracy and approve
meaningful content changes before development is completed.
05
Will the converted course work in our LMS?
We can publish courses for common learning standards including
SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004. Completion, passing
scores and reporting behaviour are configured around your LMS
requirements. When staging access is available, we can also support
final acceptance testing in your learning environment.
06
Can accessibility and translation be included?
Yes. Accessibility requirements can be incorporated into the
learning design and development process, including keyboard
operation, focus order, contrast and text alternatives. We can also
prepare courses for translation and reintegrate translated content
into Storyline or Rise.
07
How are project cost and timeline determined?
Cost and timing depend on the amount and condition of the source
content, course length, interaction level, media requirements,
accessibility needs and review process. We provide a project
estimate after reviewing representative materials so the scope is
based on the actual work—not a blind per-slide price.
Start with what you have
Your existing content is already the starting point.
Send us a representative deck, manual, SOP or existing course. We
will review what you have and recommend the smartest way to turn it
into effective, LMS-ready learning.
