Beyond translation

A translated course still has to work.

New language content can affect layouts, media and course behaviour. We adapt the complete learning experience—not just the words inside it.

01
Flexible layouts

Expanded translated text remains clear and readable.

02
Localized media

Captions, graphics, narration and screenshots are updated.

03
Tested delivery

Storyline, Rise and SCORM packages are republished and checked.

What we localize

We localize more than the words on screen.

A working course combines copy, media, interactions and LMS settings. Our eLearning localization services keep every layer aligned with the approved translation.

Your source course remains the master. Localized versions follow the same design, accessibility and completion rules.

Localization QA

Localized isn’t finished until it works.

Translated content is only one part of the job. We rebuild, review, publish, and test every localized course so it is ready for your learners—and your LMS.

01

Language in context

Approved translations are reviewed inside the course—not only inside a spreadsheet or translation document.

02

Layout and interaction

We check text expansion, buttons, states, layers, captions, navigation, and interactive elements across the localized build.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about eLearning localization?

Straightforward answers about translation handoffs, Canadian French courses, Storyline localization, technical testing and LMS-ready delivery.

Have a different question?
01 Does Hiveminds provide translation services?

Hiveminds focuses on the technical side of eLearning localization rather than acting as a standalone translation agency. We prepare the course content for translation, then rebuild and test the course using the approved translated copy.

We can work with your internal language team, an existing translation partner or a professional translation provider involved in the project.

02 Can you localize an existing Storyline or Rise course?

Yes. We can localize existing Articulate Storyline and Rise courses, including on-screen text, navigation labels, interactions, assessment feedback, captions and other course content.

Native source files provide the best starting point. We review the available files, linked assets, fonts and publishing requirements before confirming the localization approach.

03 Can you create a Canadian French version of our course?

Yes. We can rebuild and test eLearning courses using approved Canadian French translations while preserving the structure, interactions and visual quality of the original course.

We also account for text expansion, localized interface language, captions, audio, graphics and other elements that may need to change for the French Canadian version.

04 Can you work directly with our translation agency?

Absolutely. We can prepare structured source content for your translation agency, answer questions about course context and reintegrate the approved translations into the authoring files.

This keeps language approval with the appropriate specialists while Hiveminds manages the course build, formatting, interactions, publishing and technical quality assurance.

05 Will the localized course still work in our LMS?

The localized course can be published to the agreed delivery standard, including SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004, and checked for the technical behaviour required by your learning management system.

Depending on the project scope and available LMS access, testing can include launch, completion, scoring, bookmarking, resume behaviour and other learner tracking requirements.

06 What do you need from us to begin?

Ideally, we begin with the native course source files, linked media and fonts, the original source copy, approved translations or access to your translation partner, and your LMS publishing requirements.

If you inherited an older course or do not know exactly what files are available, we can review what you have and identify what is usable before recommending the next step.
